Radnički, Kragujevac

Beginnings

In 2014, KK Radnički Kragujevac — which had competed in the regional league for five seasons — was dissolved. On the initiative of former Serbian basketball player Nikola Lončar, the Kragujevac Basketball Club Radnički was founded and began competing from the lowest level of competition, the Second Serbian League – West. The club was presented to the sports public on October 13, 2015, and two days later played its first official game against Bane from Raška, winning decisively 115–34. They finished the season with a perfect record of 22–0, earning promotion to the third tier of competition – the First Serbian League – West. In the 2016/17 season, they finished in 4th place with 20 wins and 6 losses.

Glory Days

Due to financial problems, Napredak from Kruševac had to withdraw from the Basketball League of Serbia, the country’s top division, and Radnički took their place for the 2017/18 season. In their first season, with 7 wins and 19 losses, they finished 13th and were relegated back to the Second League after just one year.
