Zlatibor Mozzart delivered a dominant home performance in Round 5 of the 2025/26 ABA League 2 regular season, defeating MZT Skopje Aerodrom by a convincing 102:74. With this result, the team from Čajetina recorded their third consecutive win in the competition and improved their overall record to 4-1, sharing the top of the standings after five rounds.

The first half was still competitive, with MZT Skopje Aerodrom managing to stay within reach and occasionally matching the hosts’ intensity. However, everything changed after the break. Zlatibor Mozzart came out with far greater energy and rhythm, quickly taking control of the game and opening up a double-digit lead. As the minutes went by, the gap continued to grow, with the home side eventually building a 20-plus point advantage and putting the outcome beyond any doubt.

The key to Zlatibor’s convincing win was their outstanding shooting display from long range. Ivan Smiljanić and Trevor Charles Ray Moore led the charge, combining for an incredible 14 three-pointers. Smiljanić knocked down six shots from beyond the arc, while Moore was simply unstoppable, drilling eight three-pointers. With that performance, Moore tied the second-best single-game mark in ABA history for most three-pointers made.

On the other side, MZT Skopje Aerodrom were unable to find answers in the second half and eventually suffered their second defeat of the season. The Skopje side now stands at 3-2 after five rounds.
