Široki grab their first win of the season, as they prevail over Vojvodina
Široki have outgunned the NLB ABA League 2 newcomers Vojvodina in their opening game of the season and started their 2023/24 campaign victoriously.

Široki have outgunned the NLB ABA League 2 newcomers Vojvodina in their opening game of the season and started their 2023/24 campaign victoriously.
It’s been a close game, where neither of the two squads managed to pull away all until late in the fourth quarter. With 6 minutes left in the game, Vojvodina have still been up by 2 points (64:62), but that’s when Široki came up with a 10:0 run over the next 3 minutes of play and entered the final 3 minutes with an 8-point advantage (64:72).
As it turned out, in the remainder of the game, Vojvodina did not manage to fight back and perform a comeback and Široki squad celebrated.
