Spartak Office Shoes have advanced to the semi-finals of the 2023/24 NLB ABA League 2 Playoffs as they eliminated Kansai Helios with an aggregate score of 163:139 over two games.
The top placed team from the regular season was a clear favorite after the 1st leg in which they defeated Kansai Helios by a 13-point margin on the road, while today in Subotica the blue-and-whites definitely booked their semi-finals with another win over the Domžale crew.
Yet, it must be mentioned that Kansai Helios played quite a good match in Subotica as they had a tied game after the opening 3 quarters – 56:56.
But, then the home team really turned on their engines to storm through the 4th quarter leaving their opponents on a double-digit deficit – 79:68.
Spartak Office Shoes will play in the semi-finals against either MZT Skopje Aerodrom or Široki TT Kabeli.
