Vojvodina mts recorded a 77:67 home win over Podgorica Bemax in Round 5 of the ABA League 2, improving their record to 3-2, while the visitors from Podgorica remain winless at 0-5.

Podgorica Bemax made a better start to the game and held a narrow lead after the opening quarter (14:18). However, Vojvodina mts responded with a strong second period, stepping up on both ends of the floor to outscore their opponents 25:13 and take control heading into halftime.

The Serbian side continued to dictate the pace after the break, winning the third quarter 22:19 and maintaining a comfortable advantage. Despite a closely contested final period (16:17), Podgorica Bemax were unable to mount a serious comeback, as Vojvodina mts managed the game well down the stretch.

The difference was evident in outside shooting and transition offense. Vojvodina mts connected on 10 three-point shots, compared to just 4 for Podgorica Bemax, and were far more effective in the open court, scoring 19 fast-break points to Podgorica’s 7.

Vojvodina mts showed good offensive balance with five players finishing in double figures. Marko Ljubičić led the way with 16 points, along with 7 assists and 5 steals. Stoimenov followed with 14 points, while Milisavljević and Stuckey Jr added 13 apiece. Session rounded out the scoring with 12 points.

Siniša Šorak was the top performer for Podgorica Bemax, recording 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in the losing effort.
