Kansai Helios Impress at Home in The Match Against Primorje 1945

Kansai Helios delivered one of their most convincing performances of the season as they defeated Primorje 1945 at home - 86:56 - in Round 7 of the 2025/26 ABA League 2. The Domžale side controlled the game from the opening tip and never allowed the league newcomers to seriously threaten their lead.
The hosts came out firing on both ends of the court, quickly establishing a double-digit advantage by the end of the 1st quarter. From that moment on, the rhythm of the game was entirely in their hands. Every attempt by Primorje 1945 to close the gap was answered with an even stronger run by Kansai Helios, who kept extending their lead quarter by quarter.
The full extent of their dominance was visible in the 4th quarter. Even though the match was already decided, Kansai Helios maintained their intensity, holding Primorje 1945 scoreless for the opening seven minutes of the final period.
The standout performer of the evening was shooting guard Jan Zemljič, who had an outstanding all-around display. He finished the match with 28 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals, earning a remarkable index rating of 40.
With this win, Kansai Helios improved to 3-1 and continued building momentum in the early stage of the season. On the other side, Primorje 1945 dropped to 1-3.
