Sutjeska Elektroprivreda opened their 2025/26 ABA League 2 campaign in style as they triumphed on the road against Široki TT Kabeli. The Nikšić side showed great composure and teamwork to turn things around after a challenging first half.
After the opening 20 minutes, the home team held a narrow 4-point lead – 38:34 – but the second half brought a completely different story. Sutjeska Elektroprivreda came out firing, scoring an impressive 53 points in the final two quarters to seize control and eventually secure a well-deserved win.
Kristopher Martin shined on his Sutjeska and ABA League 2 debut, leading all scorers with 22 points, while experienced center Filip Barović added 15 points and Tadija Tadić contributed 11 for the victorious team.
On the other side, Sincere Carry was the top performer for Široki TT Kabeli with 22 points, but it was not enough to prevent the visitors from celebrating a winning start to the season.
