In the opening game of the Wednesday’s NLB ABA League 2 schedule, Ilirija have grabbed a crucial road win in Zagreb over Cedevita Junior, that helped it seal the ticket for the Playoffs.
Cedevita Junior have been the ones to open this game of ups and downs in a better fashion and they were ahead by 9 points (26:17) after the opening quarter. The visiting side, however, did not give up and cut the gap to 3 points by halftime and turned it completely upside-down until the end of the third quarter, when they led by 5 points. In the remainder of the game, they even made their lead double-digit and then continued to cruise towards the win in the end with the final score of 71:80.
This way, Ilirija joins Vojvodina mts and Zlatibor Mozzart in the Semifinals of the 2024/25 NLB ABA League 2 season.
