Late comeback gives Cedevita Junior a Top 8 spot
In the Round 5 of the NLB ABA League 2 season, Cedevita Junior have prevailed over Kansai Helios on the road in Domžale, grabbed their fourth win of the season so far and earned themselves a Top 8 ticket.

Cedevita Junior are the fourth team to earn themselves a ticket to the TOP 8 of the NLB ABA League 2 season. The Zagreb side have prevailed over Kansai Helios on the road in Domžale, got their revenge for the Round 1 defeat against Domžale side in Zagreb, won their 4th game of the season and secured themselves at least the second place in the Regular Season Group A.
The Zagreb side have prevailed over their Domžale rivals thanks to exceptional finish of the game. They have entered the last quarter with a 10-point deficit, but managed to turn the game completely upside-down in the final minutes of the game, to get away with a 78:80 win in the end.
The two squads are now tied at the 4:1 score atop of the Group A, and both of them will play in the Top 8 of the 2024/25 NLB ABA League season.
