Široki TT Kabeli have made a winning start to the2026 ABA League 2 Playoffs quarter-final stage, as they defeated Jahorina Pale at home 74:64 to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Despite being the top seed in the Playoffs, Široki TT Kabeli had to work hard for this victory as Jahorina Pale delivered a very strong performance and kept the hosts under constant pressure. The visitors were even in front with just over 6 minutes remaining, putting themselves in a great position to steal home-court advantage.
However, when it mattered the most, Široki TT Kabeli stepped up.
The home side produced their best stretch of the night in the closing minutes, tightening up the defense while delivering offensively in key possessions. In the final five minutes, Široki TT Kabeli went on a decisive 14:5 run, fueled by several big shots that turned the tide of the game and secured a comfortable margin by the final buzzer.
