In the opening game of the ABA League 2 Round 7, Vojvodina have prevailed over Mornar-Barsko zlato on the road in Topolica Sports Hall, making an additional step towards securing themselves a ticket for the Playoffs stage of the ABA League 2 season.
This way, Vojvodina mts are now on a 5:2 record after 7 games played and will be in a favourable position in the remainder of the Regular Season in the Playoffs race. On the other side, Mornar-Barsko zlato are now on a 2:5 record after 7 games behind them and their chances of qualifying for the Top 8 seem to be slowly fading away.
The visiting side have been the better of the two sides all game long. They were up by 3 points after the opening quarter (23:26), by 6 at halftime (40:46) and by 13 after 30 minutes of play (52:65). In the remainder of the game, they calmly continued to cruise towards the win in the end with the final score of 70:84.
