EL: Partizan Mozzart Bet Holds Off Anadolu Efes for Second EuroLeague Win

Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade earned a hard-fought 93:87 victory over Anadolu Efes Istanbul in Round 3 of the EuroLeague, showcasing composure and teamwork to secure their second win of the season.

Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade recorded an important 93:87 home victory over Anadolu Efes Istanbul in Round 3 of the EuroLeague. The Serbian team, led by head coach Željko Obradović, controlled most of the game and stayed composed in the decisive moments to secure their second win of the season.

Partizan opened the game strongly, establishing a double-digit lead early behind the efforts of Sterling Brown, who finished as the top scorer with 24 points. Tyrique Jones contributed 18 points and 8 rebounds against his former club, while Isaac Bonga added 16 in another well-balanced team performance.

The hosts produced an impressive first half offensively, scoring 55 points and heading into the break with a 12-point advantage. Anadolu Efes responded in the third quarter, briefly taking the lead at 75–76, but Partizan quickly regained control. Strong defense and better execution in the closing minutes allowed Obradović’s team to close out the contest successfully.

With this result, Partizan improved to a 2–1 record in the EuroLeague as they now switch their focus to their road game against Split in the AdmiralBet ABA League.
