Podgorica Bemax has gotten its first win of the season after securing an important home win against Pelister-Bitola.
Pelister-Bitola was in control of the lead for most of the game, they held an 8-point lead in the early moments of the final quarter and seemed like they were going to stun Podgorica Bemax on their home court. Podgorica would not let anyone beat them on their home court, they knew they needed the win to avoid a 0-2 start in group play. Boško Radović's team put on the clamps in the final 5 minutes of the game, they went on a crucial 22:4 run to end the game and lock up an important home win in Group C.
Anthony Smith finished the night with a double-double for Podgorica, he dropped 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the win. Michael Edwards was the top scorer for Pelister-Bitola, he dropped 24 points and pulled down 8 rebounds.
