Vojinović: “A festival of basketball is coming up in Subotica”

Milija Vojinović, the ABA League j.t.d. Sports Director and Darko Papac, the Board Member of Spartak Office Shoes, have shared their thoughts ahead of the first Regular Season Tournament in the NLB ABA League 2, which is taking place in Subotica.

Milija Vojinović, ABA League j.t.d. Sports Director:

“As I have been on my way to Subotica, I have witnessed many billboards, that are promoting this event in Subotica. It is evident how much effort they have devoted into promotion of this event. Therefore, I rightfully believe that a true festival of basketball is upon us and that Subotica will be a center of regional basketball in the forthcoming 5 days.”

Darko Papac, Spartak Office Shoes Board Member:

“Our main task ahead of the tournament was to bring basketball back here in Subotica, such as has been played here many years ago. We have been out of this story for too long. Lots of effort has been invested into obtaining the right to organize the tournament and to adapt the hall to the standards of the NLB ABA League 2. I believe that we have done a great thing and that everything together is a great story for our town.“
