What a game and what an ending! Budućnost VOLI point guard Justin Cobbs scored the game-winning two-pointer at the 4th quarter buzzer to help his team prevail over FMP Meridian on the road.

Game recap: What a game and what an ending! Budućnost VOLI point guard Justin Cobbs scored the game-winning two-pointer at the 4th quarter buzzer to help his team prevail over FMP Meridian on the road in postponed game of Round 14.
Budućnost VOLI have therefore made a major step toward securing the 3rd place ahead of the Playoffs as they now have the overall score of 17-6, while they still have some chances of finishing the regular season at the 2nd spot.
On the other side, FMP Meridian are now all tied with Igokea m:tel with the overall score of 14-10 and these two teams will fight until the end for the 5th place on the standings.
Key moments: The ending of this game was simply epic. Budućnost VOLI had a 13-point lead in the middle of the 4th quarter – 73:60, however then FMP Meridian pulled off one of the biggest comebacks in this season. The home team firstly made a 9-0 run to reduce the margin to just 4 points – 73:69, while after a tough battle in the final two minutes, FMP Meridian managed to tie the score!

With just 20-seconds remaining on the game clock, Budućnost VOLI called for a time-out during which their head coach Aleksandar Džikić decided to put the ball into the hands of his point guard Justin Cobbs for the final play.
