It was very exciting this Wednesday evening in ABA League 2.

Krka have demonstrated that they are used of playing at the ABA League first division level, as they have begun their ABA League 2 campaign strongly, by outplaying Lovćen of Cetinje at the home court of Leon Štukelj Sports Hall in Novo mesto. The home side led by 13 points already by half time and it quickly became evident who is going to take the victory at this game. The final score was 89:76, after they already had a 23-point high advantage.

For the winning side Marko Jošilo led the way in scoring with 19 points, while Latković and Korać were the most efficient for Lovćen with 14.

Great night for Split who defeated Zrinjski at home court in the 1st round of the 2017/18 ABA League season. The former European champions gained the crucial lead in the last quarter, while at the end they were rewarded with a huge applause from the home crowd... And one player even got standing ovation!

Split-born forward Mateo Kedžo made a stunning performance in his home town, as he had 37 points and 10 rebounds this evening! On top of that, this 33-year old player had the overall index rating of 51!!!

Truly amazing performance...

In Tivat, Teodo have demonstrated high-class basketball, to show off Rogaška in their opening game of the ABA League 2. Rogaška led at half time by a point, but the hosts raised the level of their performance significantly in the second half and celebrated a comfortable victory in the end with the final score of 78:69.

Miloš Popović and Milovan Savić led the way in scoring for the winning side with 17 points each. On the other side Ivan Batur had 15.

Borac have celebrated their first ABA League 2 win, as they have edged out AV Ohrid on the road in Biljanini Izvori. It has been a pretty one-sided contest, as the squad of Čačak have been in front by 7 points already at the end of the first quarter. They entered the last quarter with a double-digit advantage (61:51) and just confirmed their supremacy in the final period, as they have cruised to an 82:62 triumph.

Marko Stojadinović shined for Borac, as he scored 21 points, while adding 12 rebounds and a steal to his stats. On the side of AV Ohrid it was the Frenchman Remi Barry who led the way with 21 points and 4 rebounds.

The last match of the opening round in ABA League 2 was really, really exciting! Sixt Primorska defeated Dynamic VIP PAY in overtime and therefore scored huge away win at the start of 2017/18 journey. 

The visitors had a chance to win the match even before the overtime, but they missed two shots in the last seconds of the 4th quarter. Nevertheless, Sixt Primorska crew dominated the court in additional 5 minutes and grabbed a well-deserved win. 

Tadej Ferme made 6 three-pointers for the away team, but the man of the match was his teammate Marijan Čakarun who had 19 points and 8 rebounds.

In the home team, Aurimas Majauskas scored 23 points, while his overall index rating was 34!
