MZT Skopje Aerodrom got an important win in the hunt for first place as they bested tournament hosts Vojvodina mts.
The North Macedonian squad controlled the game in the first half, even holding a 15-point lead in the second quarter. Vojvodina mts, supported by their home fans, got their way back into the game during the second half and it was a nail-biting finish. Late-game heroics from Marko Baković and Cedric Cezell Russell Jr. led MZT Skopje Aerodrom to a crucial victory.
Marko Baković had a stellar game to lead his team to the win, he scored 17 points with 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. Zoran Nikolić finished the night with a double-double for Vojvodina mts, he scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
