Podgorica become the first team to beat Spartak Office Shoes in the 2023/24 season

Podgorica have scored a huge win in Round 4 of the 2023/24 NLB ABA League 2 regular season as they defeated league leaders Spartak Office Shoes.
Podgorica have therefore become the first team to beat the Subotica squad in the 2023/24 regional league campaign, while the two teams are now all tied on the standings with the overall score of 3-1.
This match was definitely one of the most anticiapted games of Round 4, considering that both Podgorica and Spartak Office Shoes are doing pretty well in the 2023/24 season. And after a tight first quarter in which Podgorica side gained a 1-point lead – 23:22, the gap started getting bigger in the favor of the Montenegrin team.
Podgorica have increased their lead to 9 points until the halftime – 42:34, while their lead has increased to 17 points at one moment of the 3rd quarter – 61:44. And, the boys from the Montenegrin capital had no problems keeping that double-digit lead all the way until the end of the match.
Brandon Sly and Jalon Miller shined in the winning team as two of them scored 41 points combined this evening. Sly scored 22 points and dished 6 assists, while Miller made 19 points and 5 rebounds.
On the other side, Filip Barna was the top scorer of Spartak Office Shoes in this match with 20 points.
