Aljaž Bratec is staying with the Helios Suns
A week before the beginning of the preparations for the new season, Aljaž Bratec, child of Helios Suns, has extended the cooperation with the Domžale squad. This will be the fifth season for Bratec in the Domžale team.

Aljaž Bratec has been a member of the Helios Suns ever since the 2016/17 season and in the prematurely finished season he has been an important part of the squad, led by head coach Dejan Jakara, who has been giving him a playing time of 20 minutes per game in the ABA League 2.
Bratec, that can cover both guard positions, is a former member of all youth categories of Slovenia national team and he also appeared three times for the senior national team in the 2019 World Cup Qualifiers.
As he agreed on cooperation with the Suns, Bratec stated: “I am satisfied that we have managed to agree on extension of the cooperation with the club. After a long break we are all looking forward to returning to the court and to start practicing. I believe that there is an interesting and most of all successful season ahead of us.”

Tudi Aljaž Bratec ostaja med Helios Sunsi
Teden dni pred začetkom nove sezone je sodelovanje s Helios Sunsi podaljšal tudi otrok kluba, 22-letni Aljaž Bratec. Zanj bo to že peta sezona v domžalskem članskem moštvu.
Aljaž Bratec (1998, 193 cm) je del prve ekipe Helios Sunsov vse od sezone 2016/17, v lanski predčasno končani sezoni pa je bil pomemben del rotacije trenerja Dejana Jakare, ki mu je v Ligi ABA 2 namenjal po slabih 20 minut na tekmo.
Bratec, ki lahko uspešno igra na obeh branilskih položajih, je nekdanji član vseh mlajših reprezentančnih selekcij, v kvalifikacijah za svetovno prvenstvo 2019 pa je trikrat oblekel tudi že dres članske reprezentance Slovenije.
Ob dogovoru s Sunsi je Bratec dejal: "Zadovoljen sem, da smo se s klubom uspeli dogovoriti o podaljšanju pogodbe. Po dolgem premoru se vsi močno veselimo vrnitve na parket in pričetka treningov. Verjamem, da je pred nami zanimiva, predvsem pa uspešna sezona."
