Orel is coming back to Domžale, Šujica and Mirtić signed new contracts
The Domžale squad is, while trying to compose as good team as possible for new challenges in the ABA League 2, also investing into the young prospects, that can hope to get their place on the roster in the new season, in case their development and progress go as planned. Anej Orel, Tim Šujica and Tibor Mirtić have signed their first professional deals with the club.

Anej Orel (2002, 203 cm) is a child of the Domžale club and he spent his last season in Spain, playing for the Spanish Basketball Academy. Tim Šujica (2002, 194 cm) moved to Domžale a year ago from AKK Branik of Maribor, while he played last season for the Helios Suns junior team Helios Suns Matica MB and also Janče in the 3rd Slovenian Basketball League. Tibor Mirtič (2003, 202 cm) has been a member of the Helios Suns for the past two years, after arriving from Slovan. After two seasons spent in the U17 and U19 categories, he will meet the senior basketball now for his first time.
All three of them have been a part of the national team programme practices, organized by the Slovenian Basketball Federation. In the new season, they will be practicing with the Helios Suns. Tim Šujica will be playing in the 3rd Slovenian Basketball League for Ježica, which will be led from the bench by head coach of the Domžale team’s junior squad Jure Močnik. Meanwhile, Anej Orel and Tibor Mirtič will do their best in order to earn themselves a couple of playing minutes with the Helios Suns senior team under the guidance of head coach Dejan Jakara.

V Domžale se vrača Orel, podpis pogodbe tudi za Šujico in Mirtiča
V Domžalah se, ob sestavi članskega moštva za čim boljše dosežke v Ligi ABA 2, nadaljuje tudi zgodba zaupanja v mlade upe, ki se ob ustreznem napredku in razvoju, v prihodnjih letih lahko nadejajo tudi vlog v članski ekipi. V teh dneh so svoje prve pogodbe s klubom sklenili Anej Orel, Tim Šujica in Tibor Mirtič.
Anej Orel (2002, 203 cm) je otrok domžalskega kluba, zadnjo sezono pa je preživel v Španiji pri Spanish Basketball Academy. Tim Šujica (2002, 194 cm) se je v Domžale preselil pred letom dni iz mariborskega AKK Branika, lani pa je ob igranju za mladinsko ekipo Helios Suns Matica MB članske minute lovil pri Jančah, v 3. SKL. Tibor Mirtič (2003, 202 cm) je član Heliosa zadnji dve sezoni, prej je igral za Slovan. Po dveh sezonah pri U17 in U19 se bo zdaj prvič srečal tudi s člansko košarko.
Vsi trije so bili v zadnjih tednih del reprezentančnih treningov, ki jih je organizirala Košarkarska zveza Slovenije. V novi sezoni bodo del trenažnega članskega procesa Helios Sunsov, s tem da bo Tim Šujica kot posojen košarkar igral v 3. SKL, za Ježico, ki jo bo vodil trener domžalske mladinske ekipe Jure Močnik. Anej Orel in Tibor Mirtič si bosta poskušala minute priboriti z dokazovanjem pri Dejanu Jakari, v domžalskem članskem moštvu, vsi pa bodo seveda tudi nosilci igre mladinske U19 A selekcije.
