In the local derby of the ABA League 2, Široki have beaten Spars at home in Pecara Sports Hall in Široki Brijeg and keep Spars waiting for their first triumph of the season even after seven rounds played.

Spars keep waiting for their first ABA League 2 win even after seven rounds of the season, as they have missed a perfect opportunity to grab a sweet away win in a local derby in the game against Široki on the road in Pecara. With this victory, Široki, on the other side, remain in the Playoffs race, as they are now sharing the second place in the standings, together with MZT Skopje Aerodrom and Helios Suns.

Spars were in front for the majority of the game, even though Široki kept threatening to take their advantage away throughout the game and it stayed that way all until the final minutes of the clash, when Široki made a 9:0 run to turn their 65:59 deficit into a 68:65 lead with only a minute left in the game. The guest tried to make the final push and to turn the game around, but they simply did not manage to do it.
