Široki TT Kabeli defeated MZT Skopje Aerodrom the last game of the 2023/24 NLB ABA League 2 regular season and therefore claimed the 4th position onthe standings.

Široki TT Kabeli defeated MZT Skopje Aerodrom the last game of the 2023/24 NLB ABA League 2 regular season and therefore claimed the 4th position on the standings.
On the other side, MZT Skopje Aerodrom have ended their 2023/24 NLB ABA League 2 campaign at the 5th spot, which means that we will watch the clash of these two teams already in the quarter-finals of the upcoming Playoffs.
Široki TT Kabeli did prevail in today's match, but we almost witnessed one of the biggest comebacks in the history of the competition. The hosts of the last regular season tournament had a 19-point lead, with just two-and-a-half minutes left on the game clock – 80:61.
But, then MZT Skopje Aerodrom made a 16:0 run to reduce the gap to just 3 points – 80:77, while the Skopje crew even had two chances to tie the score in the final 10 seconds of the game! However, firstly Haris Delalić missed a 3-pointer at the score of 80:77, while in the final second of the game, at the score of 82:79, Marko Milovanović also missed his 3-point attempt that would have taken this game into overtime.
