Pelister-Bitola prevailed over Šibenka in overtime after a big 45-minute battle in the final game of Round 8.

Pelister-Bitola prevailed over Šibenka in overtime after a big 45-minute battle in the final game of Round 8.
Šibenka have had the lead during most of the game and they were even up by 15 points at one moment of the 1st half. However, their 3-point shot simply stopped working after the halftime break. Šibenka were 0/14 for 3-points in the 2nd half and overtime combined.
On the other side, Pelister-Bitola used their chance to complete a comeback. The visitors were reducing the gap bit by bit, while they could have won the game already in the final seconds of the 4th quarter, but Daishon Knight missed a 3-point shot at the buzzer.
In overtime, Pelister-Bitola’s best player from today’s game Jure Planinić took over as he scored 7 points to lead his team toward the win.
Planinić finished this game with 26 points, 14 rebounds and with the overall index rating of 39, which brought him the MVP of the Round award.
