Krka advance to the Final

In the first game of the NLB ABA League 2 Semifinals, Krka have prevailed over Podgorica in Domžale Sports Hall.
This way Krka have managed, in their second NLB ABA League 2 season, to reach the Final for the second time. The first time they did it, in the 2017/18 season, they have triumphed in the Final over Sixt Primorska and qualified for the AdmiralBet ABA League.
It has been a tied game in the first half, where Podgorica were in front 42:43 with 2 minutes to go, but Krka made a 10:1 run in the final 120 seconds before the big break, to win the halftime 52:44. In the second half, Podgorica managed to fight back, and cut the gap to 4 points. The last time that the teams have been separated by only 4, it has been in the 32nd minute (68:64), but that’s when Krka went on a 5:0 run, that put them up by 9 points (73:64), with 6 minutes to go in the game. It turned out that these were the key moments of the game, as Podgorica did not manage to come close enough again, in order to return into the race for the Final.
The final score was 86:74 in favour of the Novo mesto squad.
