In the first game on schedule in the NLB ABA League 2 Quarterfinals, Podgorica have prevailed over Zlatibor Gold Gondola, as they put on a convincing performance in Domžale Sports Hall.
This way, Podgorica have entered the Semi-finals of the NLB ABA League 2, following the 2020/21 season, when they did so as well in their maiden appearance in the regional competition.
Podgorica have been a dominant force throughout the game, since they won the first quarter by 12 points (26:14) and went on to increase their lead to 17 by 12th minute of the game (31:14). As it turned out, this early lead was the key to their win, as the reigning NLB ABA League 2 champions did not manage to re-enter the battle for the Semi-finals truly until the end.
Podgorica prevailed in the end with the score of 89:64.
