After beating GDD Šenčur and Široki, Podgorica have scored their 3rd consecutive win as they defeated Vrijednosnice Osijek in the opening game of Round 9.
Podgorica squad were increasing their lead gradually throughout the game and they were never actually in danger of losing the match today. And, as every game has its hero, today that special role belonged to one of the youngest players on the court – Podgorica's 19-year-old guard Luka Bogavac.
Bogavac was by far the top scorer tonight with 21 points, while he also made 4 rebounds and 3 assists to complete the best ever single-game performance of his pro career so far.
Podgorica now have the overall score of 5-4 and this win has increased the team’s chances of reaching the Playoffs. On the other side, Vrijednosnice Osijek are now at 1-8 and they are far away from the top 8 zone.
