Zadar pull off a stunning comeback to beat FMP in overtime

Game recap: Zadar have defeated FMP on the road for the first time since 2007 in the regional league!
In a thrilling game in Belgrade, Zadar’s troops pulled off a truly stunning comeback late in the 4th quarter to force overtime, while then they put on a dominant performance in the additional 5 minutes to grab this valuable win.
Zadar have therefore ended their three-game losing streak in the ongoing season and their current season record is 2-6. On the other side, FMP suffered their 4th defeat in a row in the 2020/21 ABA League campaign and their season score is 2-7 at the moment.
Key moments: FMP were up by 9 points with three-and-a-half minutes left on the game clock – 78:69. However, in the following 2 minutes Zadar made a 10:0 run to take over the lead - 78:79! In a dramatic ending of the 4th quarter, FMP had a chance to win the game as the two sides were all tied at 82:82. Nemanja Nenadić went for a drive in the final seconds of the 4th quarter, but his floater at the buzzer was not good.
Zadar used the good momentum to make the crucial 11:0 run in the opening minutes of overtime and they eventually seized the big road win.
Man of the match: Zadar's starting point guard Dominik Mavra made a double-double performance as he finished the match with 23 points and 11 assists and he definitely deserved the MVP of the match award. Still, it is also important to mention the role of Zadar's latest signing Kodi Justice who made 4 key three-pointers for his team in the 4th quarter and overtime.
Can't trick the stats: FMP missed just too many free throws in this match. The Panthers were 18/32 (56.3%) from the free-throw line tonight.
