In the Game 2 of the ABA League 2 Finals, Široki TT Kabeli have edged out TFT Skopje on the road in Gradski Park Sports Hall in Skopje, swept the series and claimed the championship trophy.

This way, Široki TT Kabeli are celebrating their first ever ABA League 2 championship trophy and their return to the top-tier regional club competition, the AdmiralBet ABA League for the first time since the 2013/14 season and they did it with style, by taking the first place in the Regular Season and afterwards sweeping the Quarterfinal, Semifinal and Final series on their way towards the top.

It has been a game, where the hosts have taken the initiative right at the start of the game and were ahead all until the second half. They departed to the big break with an 8-point lead (43:35), but Široki did not give up and just like in Game 1, they fought their way back into the game and the game went into a thrilling finish. TFT Skopje entered the last 9 seconds with a point of advantage (86:85), but it has been D’Mitrik Alexander Trice, that scored the key bucket with 4 seconds left, that took the hosts towards the win.

Trice was also the hero of Široki TT Kabeli due to the fact that he led his team towards the win with an exceptional performance all game long, finishing the game wth 32 points (6/10 for 3 points), 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and a valuation of 34. Thanks especially to this performance, but also other excellent performances in the Playoffs, he also earned himself the MVP of the Playoffs title.
