As Joker withdrew from the remainder of the season in the NLB ABA League 2, Podgorica Bemax will replace the Sombor side in the Top 8.

While thanking the ABA League j.t.d. and the NLB ABA League 2 clubs on professional, fair and correct cooperation, due to an emergence of the extraordinary circumstances (article 5, paragraphs 2 and 3 of the Contract), that prevent the club from regularly competing in the remainder of the season, Joker notified the ABA League j.t.d. Management with an official letter, sent on 9 January 2025, that it is forced to withdraw from the remainder of the competition in the NLB ABA League 2 in the 2024/25 season.

In accordance with the official FIBA Basketball Rules and ABA League regulations, all games of Joker from the first stage of the competition will be registered with the official score of 20:0 in favour of its opponents.

Based on this, after the first stage of the competition in Group C, the teams that qualified for the Top 8 stage of the competition are Podgorica Bemax as the first-placed team and Široki TT Kabeli, as the second-placed team. According to the already established competition system and calendar, Podgorica Bemax will continue the competition in Group E, where they will compete against Kansai Helios, Bosna Visit Sarajevo and Zlatibor Mozzart, while Široki TT Kabeli will compete in the Group F together with Cedevita Junior, Vojvodina mts and Ilirija.
