Široki TT Kabeli stay in the race for the Top 8 as they beat Podgorica Bemax on the road
Široki TT Kabeli defeated Podgorica Bemax on the road, seized their first win in the season and stayed in the race for the Top 8 tickets.

Široki TT Kabeli are not giving up on their Top 8 ticket! After losing the opening 3 games in the season, the boys coached by Ivan Velić defeated Podgorica on the road and therefore stayed in the race for advancing to the next stage.
We can easily say that this was by far the best performance of Široki TT Kabeli in the ongoing NLB ABA League 2 season as they have been a dominant force throughout the whole game. The visiting side gained a double-digit lead already in the opening quarter – 27:14, while despite having some problems offensively in the 2nd quarter in which they scored just 8 points, Široki TT Kabeli recovered quickly in the 2nd half and continued marching toward a convincing win.
Darko Planinić led the away squad toward this precious win with a double-double performance as Široki TT Kabeli big guy made 24 points and 10 rebounds this evening.
In the home team, Joshua Scott was the top scorer with 15 points.
Široki TT Kabeli now share the 3rd place in Group C with Pelister-Bitola as both sides have the overall score of 1-2, while Podgorica Bemax are still holding the 2nd place with the overall score of 2-2.
