2024/25 NLB ABA League Season Draw seeds announced
On Monday, 15 July 2024 the official NLB ABA League 2 First Phase of the Season Draw will take place. Take a look at the list of participating teams and which pot each of them will find themselves in.
Based on the results in the domestic championships and by allocating the wild cards, a final list of the participating teams for the 2024/25 NLB ABA League 2 season, has been made. The forthcoming season will be played in accordance wit the new competition system, with sixteen (16) teams divided into four (4) Regular Season Groups (A, B, C, D), each consisting of four (4) clubs.
In each group, the participants will face each other in a home-and-away round-robin system. Two (2) best-placed teams of each group will advance to the Top 8 phase of the competition. Eight (8) teams will participate in the Top 8 phase of the competition, which will be divided into two (2) groups (E, F), each consisting of four (4) teams. The system in the Top 8 phase of the competition will be home-and-away round-robin system. The two (2) best-placed teams of each Top 8 group wll advance into the Playoffs. The Semi-finals and Finals will be played in a best-of-three series format (1-1-1).
The Regular Season Draw and the draw of the competition numbers for the 2024/25 season will take place on Monday, 15 July 2024, starting at 12:00. The clubs will be divided into four pots, based on the results in the NLB ABA League 2 and in the domestic championships in the previous season. While conducting the draw, a national criteria will also be taken into account, since it will not be possible for two clubs from the same country to be placed within the same Regular Season Group.
