Game recap: In the Round 19 of the AdmiralBet ABA League, Split have prevailed over Partizan Mozzart Bet on the road in Belgrade. This is the first ever win by the Dalmatian squad against the black and white of Belgrade in the entire history of the AdmiralBet ABA League. Also, the one that puts them in a favourable position within the Playoffs Zone, where they are now positioned with a 9:10 record after 19 rounds played. On the other side, Partizan Mozzart Bet are now on a 13:6 record, and they are sharing the third place in the standings with Cedevita Olimpija right now.

Key moments: Split have been a better of the two squads throughout the game and with a fantastic second quarter, they have pulled away and created themselves the key lead in the game. With a bit less than 3 minutes until the end of the second quarter, the margin has still been only 4 points in favour of the visiting side (30:34), but that’s when they went on a 10:0 run, that lasted until the end of first half, and set the halftime score of +14 (30:44). Split continued the game in a same fashion and when Tonko Vuko scored for 3 points midway through the third quarter, the margin was 19 points already (34:53). As it turned out, Partizan Mozzart Bet never managed to recover from this blow until the end of the game, although they did manage to cut the gap in the very finish.

Man of the match: It was Shannon Shorter who steered the way for his Split towards the win once more, as he had 18 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and a game-high valuation of 18 on his record. He is our man of the match!

Can’t trick the stats: Partizan Mozzart Bet might have been a better of the two sides in rebounding, assists, steals and turnovers, as well as blocks, but their 3-point shooting was poor this time, as they made only 4 out of 31 shots (12.9%). That’s what turned the flow of the game Split’s way.
