Game recap: In the opening game of the AdmiralBet ABA League Round 16, Split have prevailed over Cedevita Olimpija at home in Split Sports Hall. This is the third win in a row for the Dalmatian squad, and the one that puts them on a 7:9 record, just below the edge of the Playoffs Zone. On the other side, Cedevita Olimpija are now on an 11:5 record and the gap between them and the very top of the standings seems to be getting wider.

Key moments: Split have been in front for the majority of the clash. They were ahead by 5 points after the opening quarter and by 8 at halftime. By the 28th minute, the Dragons fought back and tied the game at 63:63, but then allowed the hosts to pull away again with a 18:2 run, which put them up by 16 points (81:65) in the 33rd minute. The visiting side tried their best to fight their way back into the game, but it was too little, too late.
