Pelister-Bitola opened up the new season with an overtime win against GGD Šenčur in Dudova šuma Sports Hall, Subotica. The first half was controlled by Pelister-Bitola, it seemed like they were going to continue building a solid lead. In the second half, GGD Šenčur started mounting their comeback, cutting into the Pelister-Bitola lead as the half progressed. In an interesting finish to regulation, it seemed as if Pelister-Bitola was going to hold on and get the win, but following a couple of missed free throws and mistakes in offense by the Macedonian squad, GGD Šenčur punished their mistakes to force overtime. In the overtime period, Pelister-Bitola would pull away to get the job done in OT and grab their first win of the season.
Alexander Bernard was the top performer for Pelister-Bitola as he finished the day with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and a game-high 35 valuation. Dalibor Đapa was the leading scorer for GGD Šenčur, he dropped 22 points along with 5 rebounds.
