GGD Šenčur prevailed over Gorica in a thrilling ending to grab their 2nd win in a row in the 2022/23 NLB ABA League 2 regular season.
The winner of this match was decided in the final 15 seconds of the 4th quarter. At the score of 72:72, Gorica team decided to make a foul on GGD Šenčur player Dino Murić in order to have the final ball-possession in the match. However, that turned out to be the bad decision of the red-and-black team.
Murić scored both free throws to put GGD Šenčur back in front – 74:72, while in the following play Gorica point guard Karlo Uljarević missed a 3-point shot at the buzzer and GGD Šenčur seized the win.
Both GGD Šenčur (4-8) and Gorica (2-10) have just one more game to play in the 2022/23 NLB ABA League 2 regular season, but neither of them can reach the Playoffs.
