Podgorica get a big win against Spars Ilidža
Podgorica put up a dominant performance as they defeated Spars Ilidža in the 5th round of the 2022/2023 NLB ABA League 2.

Podgorica ended off their Sarajevo tournament with a big win against home squad Spars Ilidža to get their second win of the season.
This game was a one-way street from the start of the game, Podgorica opened up the game with a 14:4 run to set the tempo of the game. Podgorica was on their top-level defensively throughout all 40 minutes, allowing Spars Ilidža only 22 points in the first half. Turnovers were, a big issue for the Sarajevo squad, they lost the ball 25 times compared to Podgoricas 9 turnovers, allowing 20 fastbreak points.
Mladen Vujić led the way for Podgorica, finishing this game off with 18 points and 7 rebounds. For Spars Ilidža, Luka Majstorović was their top scorer with 13 points.
After this win, Podgorica improves to a 2-3 record while Spars Ilidža drops to 1-4 in the 2022/2023 NLB ABA League season.
