Zlatibor prevail over MZT Skopje Aerodrom in a thrilling ending

Zlatibor have defeated MZT Skopje Aerodrom in another very exciting match of the last round of the 2021/22 regular season.

The key moment in this game happened just 24 seconds before the end, at the score of 82:82, when MZT Skopje Aerodrom player Nemanja Milošević made an unsportsmanlike foul on Zlatibor big guy Dimitrije Nikolić.

Nikolić scored both free throws to put his team in front – 84:82, while in the next ball-possession of Zlatibor their point guard Nemanja Protić got fouled for another two free throws. Protić was also perfect from the free-throw line and Zlatibor escaped on a 4-point lead late in the 4^th quarter – 86:82.

This means that Zlattibor will finish the regular season either at the 6^th or at the 7^th position, depending on the result of the final game of the day in which Mladost Zemun play against Sutjeska.

On the other side, MZT Skopje Aerodrom have already sealed the top spot on the table, so this defeat won’t hurt them much.
