Protić becomes hero of Zlatibor against Sutjeska
In the opening game of the Friday’s NLB ABA League 2 programme, Nemanja Protić has handed his Zlatibor a win over Sutjeska after a major comeback in Pecara Sports Hall in Široki Brijeg.

In the opening game of the Friday’s NLB ABA League 2 programme, Nemanja Protić has handed his Zlatibor a win over Sutjeska after a major comeback in Pecara Sports Hall in Široki Brijeg.
Sutjeska took the lead quickly and were in charge of the game for the majority of the playing time. They led by 5 points after the opening quarter, by 15 at halftime and by 12 after 3 quarters. However, this did not stop Zlatibor to fight back in the final quarter. They have entered the final minute with a deficit of only 4 points, but that’s when first Sandi Grubelić scored a tough shot to bring his team to -2 (72:70), while with just a few seconds on the game clock, Nemanja Protić has penetrated towards the rim and converted his drive into a 3-point play, setting the final score of the game of 72:73.
With this win Zlatibor have tied themselves in the standings with Sutjeska and Mladost MaxBet, each of them now have a record of 7:5 after 12 rounds.
