The match of the round takes us to Čačak this week

It’s time for Round 6 of the 2019/20 ABA League 2 regular season! This week the match of the round takes us to Čačak, where Borac will host Sutjeska on Thursday evening.

But, first things first. The upcoming ABA 2 week starts on Tuesday evening when Rogaška will face Novi Pazar, while MZT Skopje Aerodrom will play against Split. Rogaška and Novi Pazar are both placed in the bottom part of the standings at the moment, while the home side scored one win more than their rivals in the previous part of the season.

On the other side, the battle between MZT Skopje Aerodrom and Split is the battle for the top of the table, as MZT currently have the score of 4-1, while Split are at 3-2. A slight problem for the visiting side ahead of this big match might be that they are still winless on the road in the current season.

Wednesday evening brings us just one game and it is the one between Lovćen 1947 Bemax and Dynamic VIP PAY. These two teams are currently tied at the standings with the overall score of 2-3. Whoever wins the upcoming match will move to the top part of the table.

And now we come to the Thursday’s schedule and the big match between Borac and Sutjeska. These two are among the teams who have the overall score of 4-1 and who are currently sharing the top of the standings. Borac have won all of their 3 home games so far in the season and they are full of confidence in front of the match of the round. Still, Sutjeska showed in the away match against Spars that they can be a very dangerous opponent at any court and be quite sure that the boys from Nikšić are not coming to Čačak with the white flag above their heads.

In the remaining two games of the Thursday’s schedule Sloboda will host Široki in the clash of two league newcomers, while Spars will try to break their losing streak in the match against Helios Suns, who still haven’t scored a win on the road.
