Round 21 starts on Wednesday

Five games of Round 21 are scheduled for Wednesday evening, while three of them are very important when 2019 ABA 2 Playoffs spots are concerned.

Let’s start with the clash between Sutjeska and MZT Skopje Aerodrom. Sutjeska (11-9) have the same overall score as Dynamic VIP PAY and Borac and those 3 teams are fighting for the last remaining Playoffs ticket. With just two rounds left to be played in the regular season, Sutjeska have to win both of them in order to move in front of the other two teams. That’s why they will simply give everything they got to win the Wednesday’s match against MZT Skopje Aerodrom at home court.

At the same time, MZT (14-6) have already qualified for the 2019 ABA 2 Playoffs, but they are still trying to reach the 2^nd place on the standings which brings the home court advantage in the Playoffs. And if they win the remaining two games in the regular season they will clinch that 2^nd spot.

The team who is fighting for the 2^nd position with MZT is Spars (15-5). The boys from Sarajevo will host Helios Suns (7-13) on Wednesday evening and their one and only goal will be to win this match. Spars will definitely seal the 2^nd spot if they beat Helios Suns and if MZT lose in Nikšić.  

Finally, we go to Rogaška Slatina, where Rogaška (7-13) will host Borac (11-9). For the home team this match is not that important as they cannot reach the Playoffs. But, for Borac it might be crucial in their race for the 4^th spot on the standings. The Čačak squad have won the previous 3 games in ABA 2 and they hope to extend that streak even more.

In the remaining two games on Wednesday evening, Vršac (1-19) will host Lovćen 1947 (9-11), while Split (9-11) will face Zrinjski (6-14)
