It’s derby time in Belgrade! In the last match of Round 19, Dynamic VIP PAY (10-8) will host MZT Skopje Aerodrom (13-5).
There is no need to tell you how important this match is for each side. Dynamic VIP PAY are doing everything they can to remain at the 4th spot and to therefore win the last ticket for the 2019 ABA 2 Playoffs. After winning 6 games in a row in the regular season, the Belgrade side suffered defeat in the last round in the away match against Spars. Now, Dynamic VIP PAY simply need to get back on the winning track as several teams are chasing them in the race for the 4th spot.
On the other side MZT Skopje Aerodrom are pretty much safe when the Playoffs race is concerned, but they are still fighting a tough battle with Spars for the 2nd place which brings the home court advantage in the semis. Before this round, MZT and Spars were all tied on the standings, which means that every single game in the rest of the season might be decisive in this battle for the 2nd spot.
