January action closes with Round 18

The race for the ABA 2 Playoffs heats up! Only 5 rounds are left to be played in the 2018/19 regular season, while this exciting journey continues on Wednesday evening.

In the two opening games of Round 18, Sixt Primorska will face Zrinjski, while Spars are about to host Dynamic VIP PAY.

As far as the clash between Sixt Primorska (16-1) and Zrinjski (6-11) is concerned, it is quite clear that the hosts are the big favorites. Sixt Primorska are very close to secure the top spot in front of the Playoffs and they will try to do that as soon as possible. On the other side, Zrinjski will play for prestige, as they can hardly reach the Top 4 zone.

The clash between Spars (12-5) and Dynamic VIP PAY (10-7) is certainly the derby of the day. While Spars are doing everything they can to win the battle with MZT Skopje Aerodrom and take the 2nd spot on the standings, Dynamic VIP PAY are trying to remain at the 4th position and to book a ticket for the ABA 2 Playoffs.

Two more games will be played on Wednesday evening.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom (12-5) will host Vršac (1-16). Of course that everything except of MZT's win would be a huge surprise here, especially if we know that the boys from Skopje are fighting for the 2nd spot on the standings. At the same time, Vršac will try to break their losing streak which now stretches to 14 games.

The final game of the day is the one between Sutjeska (9-8) and Rogaška (7-10). Sutjeska are on a 4-win streak at home court and they simply need to keep winning in order to get in front of Dynamic VIP PAY who currently hold the 4th place. On the other side, Rogaška have scored just 1 single away win in the entire season and they are still far away from the Playoffs zone.
