Story of the game: Two regional giants face each other in the match which is very important for both of them. It's Petrol Olimpija vs. Budućnost VOLI.
For Petrol Olimpija this is a battle for survival, as they are very close to the relegation zone. But, it will be quite a difficult battle as their next two opponents in ABA are the last season's finalists! They will firstly face the reigning champions Budućnost VOLI at home court, while next week they are traveling to Belgrade to play against Crvena zvezda mts. Petrol Olimpija have scored just 1 single win in the last 5 rounds of the regular season, but they will still try to forget about all of their troubles and to give everything they got to score at least one win in the following two games.
At the same time, Budućnost VOLI are coming to Ljubljana in pretty good shape. The Blue squad have scored 3 wins in a row in ABA League, while on top of that they have also written down 3 consecutive wins in EuroLeague! And, Budućnost VOLI simply cannot allow themselves to drop any more points in the regular season, as they are fighting with Cedevita for the 2nd spot on the standings.

And, Sanon will try to use his defensive energy to stop one of the best point guards in the league - Budućnost VOLI's star player Norris Cole.
