Game recap: Partizan NIS continue their ABA League season with an unbeaten record after two rounds, as they have beaten Petrol Olimpija at home in packed Aleksandar Nikolić Hall with more than 6,000 spectators. It has been an amazing game, where the two sides have been exchanging their leads several times, but Partizan NIS came out victorious in the end, thanks to their excellent performance in the final two minutes of the game.

Key moments: With a minute and a half remaining on the clock, Petrol Olimpija still had a one-point advantage, but then Marcus Paige stepped up with a 3-pointer to give Partizan NIS a 71:69 advantage. When Rade Zagorac added 2 points more on the next offensive play, following good defensive action by his team, Partizan NIS were up 73:69. Even though no less than 19 points were scored in the final minute and 15 seconds, it turned out that the mentioned two shots were the key for the black and white win.

Man of the match: Rade Zagorac is becoming a true leader of this Partizan NIS. He scored 25 points, while adding 3 rebounds, just as many steals and 2 assists to his stats. He collected the valuation of 25 and is rightfully our man of the match.

Can’t trick the stats: Partizan NIS were the better of the two teams in assists (17:14), steals (11:5) and turnovers (12:18) and that turned out to be decisive, even though Petrol Olimpija won the rebounding contest (39:33).
