Zrinjski are celebrating an important win over Vršac in the 18th round of the ABA League 2 regular season, which now ties them in the 4th place in the standings with… Vršac! This way, Zrinjski have officially re-entered the race for a spot at the Final Four tournament.
Zrinjski have been trailing already with double digits in the first half, but in the third quarter, they have turned the game their way. The hosts have won the 3rd quarter by no less than 14 points and made themselves an 11-point lead before entering the final period.
In the end, the score was 88:73 in favour of Zrinjski, which will bring joy to their fans for the reason that they are now even better than Vršac in their head to head score – in Vršac they were defeated by only 8 points!
