Rogaška have scored a huge away win in the match against the 1st placed team on the standings – Sixt Primorska!
It is really difficult to describe everything that happened in Arena Bonifika this Tuesday evening. Rogaška played an incredible first half in which they scored 9 three-pointers, while at the start of the 3rd quarter they reached their highest lead in this match – 62:34!!!
But check this out – Sixt Primorska have managed to take over the lead in the last quarter! The home team have made probably the biggest comeback in this season. They were down by 28 points in the 23rd minute, while on 1:40 before the end Sixt Primorska were up by 1 against Rogaška – 85:84!
However, Rashun Davis made a 3-pointer on the other side and brought the visitors back in front, while the key moment occurred on 6 seconds before the end. Rogaška were up by 91:90, while Mitja Nikolič had 2 free-throws. He made the 1st one – 92:90, but he missed the 2nd one... Luckily for the away team, Miha Fon made the crucial offensive rebound and got fouled! He scored one free throw and made the final score – 93:90.
