Široki better than Mladost
Široki are the first team with a victory at the ABA League Second Divison Pre-Qualifying Tournament, as they have beaten Mladost Mrkonjić grad in Laktaši.

Široki have made the first step towards reaching their goal – qualifying for the next stage of the qualifiers for the ABA League second division, as they have beaten Mladost Mrkonjić Grad in the first game of the Pre-Qualifying Tournament in Laktaši and now need only one more victory to achieve their first goal.
Široki were the better of the two opponents throughout the game and have led for the majority of the game. After being up at half time (38:33), they made the crucial difference in the third quarter and led by 12 before the beginning of the last one (58:46).
They have successfully brought the game to its end, being in front and celebrated the victory with the final score of 78:65.
For Široki the top scorer was Mateo Drežnjak with 20 points, while for Mladost Sreten Knežević had 18.
On the second day of the tournament, Široki will face Sloboda Tuzla on Saturday, while on Sunday we will have a matchup of Sloboda and Mladost. The winner of the tournament will qualify for the ABA League 2 Qualifying Tournament, which will take place between 27 and 29 September in Laktaši.
