The decision to play the game of the 22nd round of the ABA League 2 season between MZT Skopje Aerodrom and Lovćen 1947 Bemax in front of the empty stands of the Jane Sandanski Arena, has been made after the North Macedonian Government has forbidden all mass public events with a goal of preventing the spread of coronavirus (Covid – 19).

With the coronavirus infection being present in the majority of the ABA League countries and in accordance with the recommendations of the responsible Ministries of respective countries, the ABA League has informed all of its participating clubs regarding the steps, that need to be undertaken with regards to this matter.

At the same time, the ABA League urges all of the participants and fans in the arenas to strictly adhere to the guidelines, issued by the World Health Organization and relevant civil services with a goal of protection and prevention of further spread of coronavirus. The high level of conscience, communication and coordinated work are of vital importance in this moment.

ABA League will, as always, keep closely monitoring the developments in this matter and will, in agreement with clubs, make further appropriate steps.
