Everything is set and ready for the start of the 2019/20 ABA 2 regular season! Twelve teams, including Borac, Dynamic VIP PAY, Helios Suns, Lovćen 1947 Bemax, MZT Skopje Aerodrom, Novi Pazar, Rogaška, Sloboda Tuzla, Spars, Split, Sutjeska and Široki will be fighting for the precious ABA 1 ticket(s).
As you all already know, the champion of the 2019/20 ABA 2 season will qualify for the 2020/21 ABA 1 season, while the 2019/20 ABA 2 Playoffs runner-up will play against the 11th placed team from the 2019/20 ABA 1 regular season in the 2020/21 ABA 1 Qualifications.
The opening round of the 2019/20 ABA 2 regular season is scheduled for this week. Everything will start in Čačak, where last season’s ABA 2 semifinalists Borac will host Lovćen 1947 Bemax. Wednesday evening also brings us clashes Spars vs. Rogaška, Split vs. Dynamic VIP PAY and Helios Suns vs. Široki.
The last two games of the first round will be played on Thursday. Sutjeska will host Novi Pazar, while MZT Skopje Aerodrom will play against Sloboda Tuzla.
