Spars rolled over Split in Sarajevo
In the last game of the ABA League 2 Round 16, Spars have edged out Split at home in Grbavica Sports Hall in Sarajevo. They will keep sharing the second place in the standings after 16 rounds.

SPARS - Split 96:58 (26:17, 19:18, 26:14, 25:9)
In the last game of the ABA League 2 Round 16, Spars have edged out Split at home in Grbavica Sports Hall in Sarajevo in one of the derby clashes of the round.
They will keep sharing the second place in the standings after 16 rounds. On the other end, Split’s chances of reaching the Playoffs at the end of the season don’t look as perfect anymore, as they are placed in the sixth place in the standings now, a win below the edge of the Playoffs zone.
The hosts have been a better of the two sides since the beginning of the game. They were up by 9 points after opening quarter and by 10 as the halftime break began. As the teams have entered the last quarter, their lead was 22 points and it was clear at this point that a pair of points would remain at home.
In the end, the score was 96:58 in favour of the hosts.
